The desert of Sahriala has a vast ocean of sand, stretching as far as the eye can see in any direction. Traversing such terrain, to travel between tribes, can be quite the undertaking. A few inhabitants have gotten creative to improve crossing the desert in terms of speed and ease. Tethering a rope to one of the native Sand Sharks while standing atop a piece of wood/metal, for example, allows one to sand surf. It is very fast... and also very fun.
Yes, this is inspired by the same mechanic in Breath of the Wild. But this is definitely something Mocca would do, and I love how his energy was captured in this piece.
