A nice pic of
tiltlongtail 's Wurlitzer jukebox, conveniently located in his kitchen!
Tilt told me it was made in 1961. Do you think your Ipod or smartphone will still be playing in 49+ years?

A few record companies experimented releasing stereo singles around 1959-61, both at 45 and 33 rpm. But they didn't sell.
I have a couple stereo singles from ABC-Paramount (Ray Charles) and Dot Records (Pat Boone, ugh). And in the 60's record companies made "Jukebox 33" EP's which had 4-6 songs on a 7 inch that played at 33 rpm.
