I kinda like the ambiguity of her sense of self. She'll tell you that she's just one person, but in other sketches featuring this character, we see her heads exhibiting expressions worlds apart from each other. Up to and including them having different preferences of treats.
Plus the description here makes it just as ambiguous; she began identifying halfway through Highschool as just one person. So for a LARGE chunk of her life, she was "Mindy and [NAME LOST TO TIME] Blaese" and she never considered until halfway through her final years of school to finally set the record straight and say, "me, not we!"
Gives me the impression that she really is conjoined twins, but they chose to identify as a single person. Kind of like how in the real world, someone who was born a man can identify as a woman later on in life, or vice-versa.
Though to be totally fair if that is the case, I'd probably drop my name and say I was a mere extension of my siamese sibling's will too if it meant getting out of the DMV faster...

Not quite, one head does not directly see what the other head is seeing. But her two heads can share simple information to each other quickly, such as "my left head is looking at something that makes me happy, I should look with my right head too" or "my right head is not comfortable talking to this person, I should talk with my left".
