Philomela Hand Reference
I did a render along with the ultra-simplified 3d model i use for the simulations that (obviously) has none of the mechanical parts but the same hinging and the approximated weights
i thought it would be useful as a quick reference to avoid the dreaded "this hand is a series of tubes with no hinging" i often see, or the "let me put random mechanical bits which are even more complex than the actual hand design". 😂

I've spent some of my days wondering how internal actuators could simulate the full range of human motion, and the wrist is a tricky spot.
The ability of a hand and wrist to 'rock' side to side is enough that it should be addressed. But I can thing of no way to give it to Philomena using the tech base of her design. The closest solution involves putting that wrist you have onto a second hinge, with rods in the forearm as actuators. But the wrist often bears heavy torque on both axes; those small parts would cause frequent breakdowns.
