That's ridiculous. All the furry conventions and online groups are best to work together to promote the furry fandom as a whole, not exclude people just because they work with the "competition".

Anyway, I'll remove my boycott if they stop denying my contributions to FE.

Denying I started the con discussion on OF and denying the original concom was a real concom is pretty low in my opinion, people put a lot of effort into the con before being removed. I really don't feel right about running a community that supports that kind of policy.

And I'll remove the ban if they start respecting people that disagree with them.

I've been insulted and told to shut up many times just for suggesting alternate ideas, even harassed. The last time I posted a complaint about them it was ignored and deleted. So you might want to reconsider supporting FE as well if you care about free speech.

I understand you being upset about the policy, but it's not really an effective ban on the organization if they can send other people in to promote them. Unfortunately that means applying the policy to people that may not have done anything wrong, themselves.

I care about freedom of speech as well, but also respect and fairness. We can't build a friendly and supportive community without these.

I haven't been on OF for about 2weeks now and just went there today to brows over stuff and noticed a few people have left the site! then came here to check my FA and see you have left now too Xp. well good for you Howie, Dan has been miserable for some time now and I can see this becoming trend. I would like to see a new forum pop up somewhere though as OF was a nice place to go on and read/post/see whats going on occasionally.

Drama I've been dealing with has been a bit too much too.

From harrasment on IRC and livejournal, to all my contributions to the convention being deleted from wikifur and denied by FE.

That's a little much. No way to treat one of the con's founders.
