While all gnoll clans rely on the companionship and friendship of wolves, the Snowfang clan takes it a step further, having the skills and ability to raise and tame the ferocious snow griffins of Velious. Notably far more dangerous and temperamental than your average 'mainland' griffin, such a thing would seem nearly impossible to accomplish. On the day of Shyla's birth, an abandoned griffin egg hatched as well in Shyla's village, and it was pure fate and destiny that allowed these two newborns to be born on the same day. Shyla grew up alongside this orphaned griffin hatchling, developing a bond unlike any other. Naming the griffin 'Frostbite', it was Shyla who took griffin taming to a whole new level. Sure, anybody can feed a wild animal enough food to have it tolerate you, but to bond on a spiritual and mental level? That is something else entirely. The Freezefur family have always been notable and skilled fighters in the Snowfang clan, and as Shyla and Frostbite grew more and more together, they fought together as one- rider and beast. Friend and friend. Sister and brother. Together, the pair have thwarted many Direwind attacks on the continent of Velious, and have even driven back raiding parties of the giants and orcs from the Eastern Wastes. Together, the two have been unbreakable, inseparable, and undefeated in aerial and ground skirmishes alike, and stand as a beacon of hope for the future of the Snowfang clan after Nerek's terrible betrayal and in a world so shrouded in doubt and despair.

I haven't posted a new OC in a while (Went through an art dump phase :P ) and I recently got back onto Heroforge. Frankly, I am very, very proud of this character, both her design and story. Leave a fav and a watch if you liked, and stay tuned!
