Yeah, as a lover of lions, it should be no surprise that I got something with Leomon.
As I've said before, these two are just the Digimon versions of Zangoose and Solgaleo~
Also Feran is usually a BanchoLeomon, but I wanted to get a pic with regular Leomon, because I just love the whole line <3
Feran is the name of this Leomon, and in this AU, he and Aladar are parts of two different enemy teams; Feran being with Vaccine Digimon, while Aladar with Virus Digimon, because everyone thinks he's one.
Now obviously not all Virus Digimon are evil, but the group that Aladar was hanging out with were kinda rough.
Hell, the only reason why he was with them was because of peer pressure, and he was a bit too easily bossed around, as well as had this drive to prove that he was useful.
Well, upon taking a break from the abuse that he was given, Aladar stumbled upon the Vaccine hideout. Thinking that this was his big break to show everyone, he kept it a secret and came up with a plan to well... Do something that would most likely give the opposite team a hard time.
The first thing that came to mind was just stalking them, and listening to their plans and secrets. With that information, he started leaving anonymous notes to his team's members, as well as their leader, a Daemon named Ranso.
Now Ranso was not the nicest guy ever. Ruled with an iron fist, and to him, Aladar was like his personal punching bag. More mentally than anything, but on the worst days, he did get a punch or two.
Their victories were starting to stack up over the Vaccine team, and Ranso was more than pleased, and was in more of a good mood than usual. Aladar also knew that he was starting to investigate people, to find out who was leaving all the notes, so the wolf knew his time in the spotlight was coming up.
However, Aladar was also staring to get uncomfortable doing this.
Part of him wanted him to continue, but things changed over time.
After each victory, Aladar usually crept back to the Vaccine hideout to see the aftermath of their losses. Obviously they were frustrated, but he noticed how no one ever lashed out at each other, and how the leader treated everyone well, and did his best to regroup and rethink all their plans.
This made him feel something else, given how back with the Viruses, when they lost, Ranso would basically make everyone's life a living Hell. Accusations were thrown everywhere, and of course Aladar was more than easy pickings, even if he wasn't involved at all.
He was envious, but also admired all of them.
Aladar eventually stopped giving away everything, but still watched the Vaccine camp, enjoying seeing all the group interactions. Their first victory over the Virus group in a long time was met with a celebration that Aladar enjoyed watching very much. (And luckily for him, someone left a box of donuts close to his hiding spot, that he was able to snag a few without being noticed. So in a way, it was his victory as well.)
Obviously back at the Virus base, Ranso was clearly in a bad mood. Of course most of it was from the loss, but he was rather frustrated that he wasn't getting any leads anymore, and couldn't find who was giving them to him in the first place.
Given how they no longer had the advantage, the field was pretty much even again between the Viruses and Vaccines.
A special mission had come up, and basically all of the Virus team was going to take part in it.
Some sort of disk-like object had been discovered recently. It was apparently some sort of ancient controller that gives the user the ability to manipulate things around them; not to mention the functions within it that could be used as a weapon.
The controller was located in a nearby mountain, and everyone was to go looking for it.
To no surprise though, the Vaccine Digimon were doing the same.
Clashes could be heard all around the mountain. Aladar of course did his best to avoid conflict; not only was he not much of a fighter, but he also wasn't sure if he could bring himself to hurt any of the opposite team.
He did have his crossbow after all, so striking from a distance was an option.
It was as if fate was messing with him, because he happened to walk right into a brawl featuring Ranso and a BachoLeomon.
Feran the BachoLeomon, who was one of the commanders of the Vaccine group.
Aladar may or may not have had a little crush on the giant lion.
The two of them had found the disk controller, and were fighting over it. The wolf had no intention on getting involved, but again, as if fate was messing with him; the disk was thrown into the air, landing into his arms.
The two large Digimon were about to run into the wooded area, but halted when he walked out, holding the controller.
Ranso began laughing because he assumed that by Aladar having the controller, he had won.
That clearly wasn't the case though.
Not being sure what to do exactly, the wolf booked it. There was a shield function on the controller that made a nice sled, so he was able to get through the mountain without an issue. He wasn't sure exactly how to use the controller aside from some of the obvious buttons, but he felt happy that it was ticket to finally ditch the Virus group.
Again, he wasn't even a Virus Digimon to begin with, he was a Free one.
A few hours later, he was in the one place he felt safe: his hiding spot near the Vaccine hideout.
He knew deep down that he wanted to join them, but now that he had the disk, his next move was to wait, and hear what everyone had to say about the situation, because obvious he would have left Feran and Ranso in a state of confusion. A few groups had returned, and to no surprise, he was the talk of the town.
People were talking about him being a rogue who took off with the controller to take the power for himself. Others were saying that he ran off back to the Virus camp without orders from Ranso.
He could only imagine what the state of the Virus Team was.
Aladar watched the team through the day, and though there was an air of uncertainty, it didn't seem like anyone was too worried.
Though he wanted to join them, Aladar eventually decided against it.
He felt like it was time to leave everything behind.
He scribbled a message onto a note, then slid the disk into Feran's tent, bolting out of the camp before anyone saw him.
The note?
"From your #1 fan, Aladar."
Aladar then left the area for about a year to become a wanderer.
Returning back, he found a new settlement had been formed. The Virus group was no more; most of them fleeing when Ranso was arrested. The area was now mostly peaceful with many different Digimon living in it.
Aladar debating on visiting some of the Vaccine Digimon, but decided against it seeing how he was only stopping for the day.
Wasn't until he was scooped up while sitting on the beach that he decided he would stick around for a while~
