Allow me to introduce to you the first finished ref picture of a male member of my cast, Ix the Ninetales, father to Sierra, Valerra, and Solerra and mate to Zyxera.

Ix was originally created as a standalone character who was just the overseer of the world everyone smaller lives on. I wanted him to be a deity who specialized in technology and helped guide mortal advancement.

For the name, I derived it from the Ix in the Dune universe by Frank Herbert which I came to know through one of my favorite childhood games, Emperor: Battle for Dune.

Only after I decided on the name Ix did I realize that “ix” is Roman numerals for “9”. >.>’ So that was an amusing coincidence.

Sometime after Ix’s creation I came to associate him as mate to Zyxera and father to the three sister Super Titans of the world.

Ix’s personality is fairly mellow and serious; not too unlike his daughter Sierra though not quite as much of a grouch. He’s not one to get super exited over things. He’s also pretty gentle and not one to go smashy like other macros. He loves interacting with mortals at a personal level.
