This is a sweet little piece! I enjoy the kind of eerie, fey vibes to it- they’re unsettling and comforting all at once, promising both mystery and safety at the same time, and the revelation that the fair folk actually were the ones behind this- it made me go “it all makes sense!” I know I’ve often been in Deven’s position, too, and his dilemma felt very relatable and empathy-worthy. Very well done!
