Unicorns rather not eat grass, it's been on the ground! How uncouth!
But a nice leaf or two from a bush can do just fine instead.
Sadly it has over time created some nasty rumours and gossip claiming a unicorn would eat your potted plants if you don't keep your eyes on them! How rude.
And further debate on whether or not the beautiful art of cutting bushes in shapes in unicorn gardens actually come from daily nibbling them into shape. Or simply as a measure to prevent guests from taking a bite as the teeth marks would be too obvious.
We might never know.

They DO have regular plants too. Although they call them "crystal berries" it still seem edible, so ya know. Not everything is *literal* crystal, they just use that to name everything shiny
But I do agree they focus more on shiny crystal decoration than some nice bushes or trees in town P:
