I started working on concept art for a game project I want to make.
The idea is for a Norse mythology oriented RPG game set in a modern day, fictional alternate version of Scandinavia (I would love it to be 3D but will likely try it with 2D instead).
The world would be inhabited by both humans and other anthro races. Since I would ideally want to make it have character customization, here are some playable races I would include. Each race would also have an alternate "clan" to choose between:
Human (not shown): Nothing more to say, it's humans with the alternate clan being Drawves
Bunelf (top left): My old original species of furry elves. Magically attuned beings that often live in forests.
Sheepkin (name not final): Simply put, peace-loving sheep folk. Usually living in lowland and highlands farmlands. The alternative clan looks more like mountain goats
Crowkin (name not final): Crow folk said to be descendants of Odin's crows. Known for extraordinary eye sight and swiftness. The alternate clan looks more like owls.
Kobold: Coming from Germanic mythology (bordering with Norse), they would be the short race of the game with the two clans looking like either the more popular lizards or the lesser known rat-like kobold.
