The first two things that came to my mind after viewing this were "Holy christ on a cracker that came out wonderfully" and "Wow, this looks like art that could be used for the Redwall series"

Wow!!! That's very, very impressive. I've loved watching this picture develop in the little sketches you've posted. But the final product is really one of my favorite pictures that I've seen on FA in a long time. I've already set this as my desktop background it's that awesome!

And it'll definitely be inspiration for me as I write about my Medieval/Fantasy Rat hero.

I agree also, this piece is very, very wonderful and I am placing it as my desktop also. We need more landscapes with dominant rats surveying their domains.

Of course! We are the most photogenic and just so suave. There needs to be a LOT more great pictures of rats in all kinds of different settings. =3
