Vlagg's first encounter with Gervic was one where he met some real leadership and resistance. No wonder Vlagg has been trying to bring Gervic back.

Hmm, according to the last sentences of Vlag's monologue, it can be said that Vlag probably has a plan to escape. He does not want his life to be determined by his clan or surroundings.

When he met Gervic, he probably saw something in him, how Vlag could escape. The question is whether Vlag is planning something in the future and whether he is counting on Gervic to be by his side ? There is no doubt that these two opened up to each other.

So the blue dragon that Vlagg got caught with at the beginning of this chapter was named "Reomir." LOL. Romeo? Vlagg's Romeo? That's funny, but I guess since the character came and went, he's more of a metaphor anyway. Vlagg was always bound in a very strict and tight role because of his noble birth and lineage, but the irony is that anyone else would have given up nearly everything to be in his position. Meanwhile, Vlagg only ever wanted to free of the chains that bound him to family legacy, which we know was probably not very just. From Clan Degrall's decision to have Bob and his clan aid in the battle, they're pretty much prepared to go to any lengths to play the game of who gets the throne in Drakenheim. While Gervic seems to have been the main character of this story, a lot of the events going on around Gervic center around Vlagg, meaning that this whole story is related to the downfall of the Drakenheim royalty lines. Considering that the Wolven royalty has already been attacked, there might be a common thread here that we're not seeing yet. As always, a fun comic to speculate. It's ironic that two commanders who met on the battlefield and nearly killed each other come together to tear down one of the biggest barriers of peace between the two kingdoms. Clan Degrall has a lot to answer for. Let's see what happens next!

Hah actually the name "Reomir" just came into my head randomly. It is not until much later that I realize that it might come from Éomer from Lotr.

I taught it was an annagram for romeo with an "i" replacing an "o" 🤔

TBH Vlagg's reason isn't really all too great. I wish I can go back and rewrite some of them but I'll let you be the judge when the next page comes.
Also the cliffhanger thing is totally unintended. I usually planned 5 to 6 panels per page but I suppose it somehow ended like that.

Vlagg is having his Heart to heart chat with Gervic and expressing his feelings and thoughts to him. i dont know how i guess things right but i guess its because that is how emotional coversations start. my next guess for the next page is Gervic will ask a few questions to Vlagg and im guessing their heart to heart conversation will continue on that is my next guess

And how exactly does Vlagg expect to prevent history from repeating itself? He won't be able to hide from his clan forever, he's already learned that secrets can't be kept for eternity.

that is a great question to ask Bpedron. i think the best way to stop history from repeating itself is just to be honest and truthful and no be afraid of who he is. Vlagg is a Gay dragon who is into men there is nothing wrong with that at all. i think vlagg should be be honest and truthful about how he really feels. the best way for Vlagg to do that is to Not let others tell him how to live his life. Vlagg is a big boy now he shouldnt need others telling him how to live his life. its his choice its his decision to make. thats why we have the freedom to choose our lives. we have the freedom to choose that life.

plus the best way for Vlagg fix this not let history repeat it self is that others should be accepting and loving for who they are just because your Gay or Bisexual or Lesbian or whatever doesnt mean you cant stop loving them or caring for them. people should be accepting for who they no matter what their sexuality is. we should all be accepting for who we are. but we should love them and care for them and be there for them. we have to accept each other for who we are.

Vlagg will have to be very careful. His father is very influential and could have him arrested or even have Gervic killed or make any of them go missing. I agree that Vlagg is old enough to make his own decisions, but he is going to have a hard time fighting the standards of his society. Nevertheless, Vlagg looks very happy in the second panel. He'll do what he thinks it's right.

yes i totally agree with you Bpedron. vlagg will do anything that is right and just to him. and that makes him a good leader to look up too. he follows his heart and feelings that makes him a great man. people who follow their hearts and feelings are a great role model. lets just hope that Vlagg can win the hearts of his people and his kingdom. lets hope all goes well for both of them :) i hope that vlagg and gervic will find a way together and that they will be victorious and winners

Given Vju's modus operandi I'm pretty sure I know exactly what's going to go down with Reomir.
