Do you paint over or paint under sketches. I've been having problem with neatness and never know how to effectively add on highlights/shading/ and other color theories aspects as effectively due to me still struggling with how to use the based sketches.

I paint over the sketches! Cause i feel like,painting under the sketch 'limits' me.When i paint over the sketch,its easier for me to be brave and improve the drawing.

Ah! Good point. I've tried that last session and I got better results I think. Thanks for the perspective. Yeah tradional style art like yours looks so much more splendid on the eye. I should figure out more analog style brushes than just plain flat brushes too.

Thanks~ do you mean like western nes box art or square's FF games? Either one is cool. 2021's late February to early May I feel like I've improved the most in a given timeframe so far in my art journey. I'm Still trying to achieve photo realism someday, so I can express my self more easily and more expressively. (I'm expanding to non lewd art so more people can enjoy it. Kinda more relaxing and It's enjoying to see more wholesome/cozy topics in art.)

Also Keep up the gewd burb work~ love the cozy slice of life pics in the photorealism with a pinch of a cartoonist touch vibes~
