A Beautiful Commission I got from
majmajor! I have been immensely happy about this during the entire process of the commission. You are a beautiful Artist Maj! They deserve all the credit for this!
This card represents my character in a long running Pathfinder campaign me and my close friends have going. Here is my character represented by both of her forms. She is a dragoness naturally (Taninim Race) and has no backstory compared to most characters in the campaign. Or more has no memory of her background. She has been reborn into a new world where she knows nothing of the environment she has been dropped into. Over time spent with the people that found and took her in. She took on a more humanoid form to fit properly into the world that she has dropped into and found that the celion (A species that a friend also in the campaign created.)
Her natural dragon form is often used when the team needs a tank to soak up damage or often volunteers her strength as a beast of burden and mount for other party members. She also carries the supplies for the rest of the team. She can't use items or other tools easily in this form but tends to resist damage naturally far better in this form. She is also a bit larger in this form and finds it hard to squeeze into tighter spaces.
Her Celion form is much more grounded of a form to take. Due to the nature of her form shifting. She always takes on exactly the same form each time. Anything that happens to her celion form is permanent and is often something she is well aware of. Often used during times in towns and villages to avoid drawing too much attention as a dragon would likely cause a heavy stir (And occasionally has in battle). She has thumbs in this form and can manipulate and use weapons. Though because most of her class abilities are in her natural form she does not have much abilities to make use of in this form. She is still able to use a bow due to natural celion instincts. She also produces natural light around her while as a celion because of their natural Bioluminescence making hiding far harder in this form compared to her natural one.
I chose judgement because of the duality of the character along with the strong influence of rebirth and renewal. Learning to adapt to a world that they have no knowledge of. She died in her last life and was given another chance to live in this new world. She is also very different between both forms and the change of forms always felt fit the card's design.
