Because a certain character that I will not mention the name of, was owned by a jerk,

So, here's the canon husband of Placide the Pikachu, and father of the twins Suzie & Gina; his name's "Noir", and he's an umbreon. (Perhaps he's been hired to work lifeguard duty.)
