There's quite a lot of furs in the DFW! I visit from time to time! If I'm in the area I'd love to get some coffee or even some ramen!

Yeah yeah! I mostly find myself around Arlington/Plano area. I don't know exactly where everything is, but I know a few fun places.

My husband and I live in Texas but sadly in the middle of the west so we won't be very close by. We just moved here in November so I feel you on the heat being an issue! Hopefully by August it won't be as bad. The people down here are definitely much friendlier than up north where we were in Illinois so I'm sure you'll at least like part of your stay down here!

I live in the jasper county area between buna and evadale.

I lived in the dfw metroplex (specifically arlington and irving) from 2003 to 2015. Though there is a rather sizable furry community, its in texas, so its gonna suck. The food is good. The state is ass backwards about LGBT rights and worker rights in general. Its too hot, but its required by law for every home and business to have ac, so that helps a lot. Just make sure the ac works in your car. XD Traffic sucks, but there are more routes to your destination than I've ever seen in my life anywhere else. Also, its HUGE. It takes almost 4 hours to drive from west fort worth to east dallas at 70 mph.

Lots to do, lots to see! I live in Dallas. I recommend anything and everything in Plano/Frisco area. Deep Ellum is cool but can get crowded on the weekends, and there's too many ramen and boba places to count (I saw a comment about ramen) Got Six Flags, barcades, lotta Asian community business areas with like rotating sushi bars and kbbq, food halls, big ol furniture and outdoor goods stores like Ikea, Nebraska furniture mart, Scheels, if you're into like window shopping like I am. Got your typical zoos, aquariums, parks, and museums. During the summer it stays hot all day long, and traffic does indeed suck after certain times.

But idk overall DFW is cool, whatever you're into there's plenty to show off. C'mon down and say Howdy!

Was in that area but moved to Washington recently, I got a bunch of good friends there, I recommend going to at least some of the fur meets in the area, check out AFM (Arlington Fur Meet), was my local one...
