I was trying to think of more “Character Cosplay” designs while listening to some music, but ended up going way off track after I listened to a cover of the song Good in Me by Jon Bellion. The cover was by Shayan Heidari and personally not only does the cover fit the mood of this piece better than the original, I personally like the cover more as well. But enough of that little tangent, onto the actual work. This is actually, and very vaguely, an AU. In the Immortals!AU, Gabe becomes a demon. In this AU, some people have a literal inner demon that can take over and completely alter their bodies and mind.

Some can do so by will, others, like Gabe, need some assistance. Essentially, any time Gabe feels any kind of strong emotion, Gaze (who I guess could be seen as a symbiotic parasite) takes over. It is literally an Eddie and Venom relationship. Only Gabe isn’t the only one with this “issue.” While not all other people have one, there are some that do and can allow their demon to take over if necessary.

Of course, people will fear those that have an “inner demon” and seek to have them destroyed. Until the government decided to round up the few they can and use them for other means instead. It is unknown why some are born with inner demons and others aren’t, but what is known, is that not all of them are as bad as some may think. Even if Gabes’ doesn’t ever leave him alone and is always angry at everything.
