I needed some drawing inspiration and Leo the Ninja Lion was happy to oblige! For some reason I had the urge to play dress up and change Leo's look from ninja to samurai! He's super cute both ways!
Leo <3 I hope you enjoy this chibi style swap! Thanks for letting me play dress up! Let me know if there are any corrections to be made (that's the great thing about digital art! I can actually make changes! Yay!).

Awwww, OMG, this turned out wickedly adorable! ;w; 
Where to even begin!? Chibi style is already flippin' sweet; excellent sense of proportions to still give it that aesthetic "realistic" look without making it too warped or ridiculous! lol The samurai hairdo/mane is pulled off tremendously here! I'm already getting some vintage anime vibes looking at his ponytail look this way! Awesome how it just sways fluidly behind him much like his actual tail swishing behind him; kinda got a backwards "S" slowing when you look at them like that which is epic! The big chibi anime eyes are very well done; it has that warm, gentle appeal which radiates the kind, caring part about him! The markings are in the right places and with just the right strokes! Great work! Way to remember some fluff on his chest around the open top! lol Speaking of which, the loose, comfortable-looking samurai wardrobe is nailed perfectly! Amazing idea for the flames around the sleeves and how detailed they look with the bits of embers here and there dancing within the main flames! All the colours palettes of his original ninja wardrobe go well with this outfit! And the sandals are a nice touch, too, going less ninja-like and more modern! The colouring is magnificent coupled together with the initial design up till now speaking of palettes! Gotta love the faint hint of blush within his cheeks! I especially enjoy the highlights in his hairdo/mane!
Not a thing wrong with this chibi-style swap, Aya! Fantastic final product! I'm honestly considering this a canon look for Leo in addition to his main ninja gear! It's just too good!
