In addition to being Guan's personal assistant (or at least being paid to look the part), Cassandra is also their bodyguard, both domestically and whenever Guan and Bran are on one of their escapades.

In that capacity, she wears a loose dress with only a strip of fabric up top (and even that is only at their insistence for modesty, since Cassandra intermittently comes from an unknown culture that doesn't consider going topless taboo). Being a dilloran, of course, she is her own suit or armor; any more would be redundant.

Her sword is a set of crystals grown to order and suspended together that feeds off of her own latent psychic energy. And while she might have a variable past from her own perspective, she's also learned to glimpse the future, at least a few seconds ahead. Think the Force or Nicholas Cage in Next.
