Donnie could still hear the ringing of the alarms in his ears while walking in an empty hallway. It was supposed to be a night as always. Just him finishing a job. 3 of them. He had to take out 3 targets, easy enough to do.

However, what was truly enjoyable, was now the sound of the carefully selected door being kicked in. Donnie raised his gun, saw the alarmed faces of the people who wouldn’t have a single chance of survival. He opened fire, shot once, twice, very soon the fifth time. It got quiet soon after, but the ringing remained. He walked deeper in the room, kicking relaxed limbs out of his path, grabbed a halfway full glass of... whatever they were drinking before he arrived. One gulp, everything went down smoothly. His ear flinched. With only few long steps, he walked towards the closest window, squinting his eyes as he heard and clearly saw someone escaping the building in a hurry, entering a car and driving away. ‘’One more.’’ He growled with a sharp raspy tone in his voice, placed the glass on the windowsill and turned back at the door, letting the pathetic hunt start all over again.
