Interesting, a very interesting stylistic take on it. I think it might have been just a -bit- off here and there, but like you said, carelessly thrown together.

I think the singing was more or less uniformly excellent (to my untrained ear, at least). There are a few times where stylistically you interpreted the melody in such a way that it felt like it might have been a half beat off — either ahead or behind, that's all.

That's just the style I was doing I guess, it isnt particularly out of time, it was more accenting parts ehre and there. I tend to do that in covers soemtimes to make them less like the original. But it isnt to everyone's taste and also I dont keep time with any beat so it can be off at times, it seems that my picking style makes the beat go a bit wonky X3

Ah! but see, for the most part, I think it worked wonderfully; it's definitely not just a cheap karaoke cover, like I think lots of good singers do. They can't -interpret- the piece for themselves, so it falls flat, even though they're great vocally. I think your interpretations are by and large, excellent — with just a few moments where it felt -slightly- off. But like I said, I <3 your work.

Ah well I appreciate your honestly :) I'm not upset or anything I just like to be told why it was off or whatever so I know.

Ands yeah, that annoys me about a lot of covers in the pop genre, they just turn them into karaoke and sort of wail over them by the end for dramatic effect. Boring... D:!

Thank you hun... I would love to record things better but living with a very noisy bunch of people and 5 naughty dogs makes it near impossible. Between finding days when it's a bit quieter (rare) and actually feeling my voice is at it's best it's very hard to sit down and produce anything right :/ It's so frustrating. I end up hating whatever I've managed to sing and it's just so irritating. I also have really bad confidence issues so I hear all these imperfections and worry over them instead of seeing what people say that's positive.

I've accepted to do a collaboration with fowamoore already but almsot 3 months later and I have still not found a good time to finish the vocals for it which is stressing me out so much since I hate letting people down. He says there's no rush but I still feel it isn't fair to make people wait due to varying factors at my end. I would love to be able to join up with more singers/musicians if it weren't for all this, so I am very reluctant to commit to anything with anyone else.. specially when you are so professional about your music and I simply can't be. Does really annoy and disappoint me greatly but I don't want to waste anyone's time or end up admitting defeat and leaving things unfinished, you know?

I am really lsot about my future, it's difficult to know which direction to head in since both things take so much time and effort, I'd love to sing properly some day but I am already 25 and I don't have much drive/hope for a good outcome with music. I do enjoy singing so much and I also love drawing, though taking a lot of commissions after not having a "proper job" has taken the energy and creativity out of me somewhat >.<;;!

Overall a very good cover of one of the few good songs on this album, and I like the acoustic arrangements as well! You're voice is good even if it does sound a little whiny at times, but it was still a pleasant listen from start to finish. Well done.
