Slowly but surely filling out my Power Rangers team. Basically, the team I'm creating is all based on beasts that have appeared in mythologies at one point or another. This one is the Lycanthrope (or Lycan for short) power ranger I made, drawn and designed wonderfully by Mr.Mist

So here she is in all her strength, Amber Smith, the Mythic Beasts Red Ranger. Born and raised in Summerville, New York, she became a ranger herself a few years back, back when she was 16 and on a hiking trip in the mountains. There, she found a small red wolf-head-shaped stone. Something about it made her want it, so she picked it up and pocketed it. Later that day, news reached the camp of a murderer who'd escaped an prison nearby to the base of the mountains. There was talk about cutting the trip short but the counselors decided to stick it out for the night and to leave first thing in the morning.

During the campfire session that night, Amber noticed some of the other hikers, some of the younger ones at that, were missing. She, for a reason unbeknownst even to her, decided to go and investigate out towards the woods. Following her nose, she eventually found the abandoned cabin the kids had been stashed in, tied up to wait for whomever it was who got them to come back. She got to work on getting them out, but before she could, the guy who did it came and started to slash at her for being there. Something inside of her flipped like a switch, and in her back pocket the red glow of the stone she'd picked up was visible, and through some karate moves she didn't know she had, she managed to disarm and knock out the murderer before he could hurt her or the kids. Once he was out cold, she got the kids untied and out of there, and then she tied up the guy who'd came at her with a knife, and headed back to camp with the kids, calling the cops as soon as her cell reception picked back up so they could come and pick him up where she'd left him tied and disarmed.
Since then, she's taken up her personal mantle of protector of Summerville, and the surrounding areas, and does what she can to help keep her packland safe..
