Josh was your average high school student until he discovered that he could shoot out a strange type of flame that couldn’t be put out by water or fire extinguishers. He unfortunately found out about it after a heated argument with his parents caused him to lose his temper. His home suddenly burst into flames and he escaped but his family died in the tragic event.

He was now on the run trying to survive and make sense of his bleak predicament. Little did he know that a secret organization wanted to hunt him down and use his powers for their own dubious purposes. Luckily he was found and hired by an agency that monitors and polices metafauna activity and given a position and a home to live in.

I know it’s not quite an original concept and it has been done to death but I thought it would be fun to come up with a backstory.
