This is a small gift for someone who has been supporting me with my mouse rescue a lot. She is an incredible wildlife rehabilitator and her main focus are hedgehogs and she basically lives for them. She has a massive garden ("field" is probably more appropriate) with endless enclosures and huts and has both hedgehogs there that will be released later and disabled hedgehogs that can't be released anymore and are kept in big fenced areas. She calls this place "hedgehog haven" and it's appropriate, if i was a hedgehog i'd love to live with her! The work is very stressful and because of our impact on the environment each year there are more and more hedgehogs that starve to death or get injured and poisoned.
