In my sheer stubbornness, trying to prove the endless blanket of haze over the mountains making sunset shooting difficult would subside and allow me to get back out, I went out hunting for one of those glorious sunset scenes. Unfortunately even as I wound out from my driveway I could see there would be no such gift of a haze free day today, so of course onto plan B! This is Soco falls shot from the observation deck some 50 ish feet from the river bed, it's an obvious, easy composition, no real thought or struggle went into making it, the leaves were nice and still, the water levels were relaxed. Despite all of that it was a lovely time to be in the mountains finding a simple idea.
