So, Maleficent's curse left Princess Aurora with this peculiar desire to prick her finger on pointy objects. The three fairies probably should have been more careful about where they kept their wands in that case. This is gonna make the whole "marrying the prince and living happily ever after" thing a tad difficult. Maybe the prince's kiss will break this curse, too?

On some advice from a friend, I tried making this one with the shadows sharper than I usually do. I'm not entirely sure the results are that much better. His advice to darken the shadows from my original first pass does seem to work a lot better though. There's some really high contrast between background and foreground and the darker background sells being inside with the curtains closed and it's more dynamic. Once again, Oldi provides some great lineart for me to work with. Been feeling newt tfs more often lately and this is a pretty good one.
