I was done with my shoot early today, the sky in my location had covered over in cloud, and as close as it was to sundown I called it quits. A rare thing for me to do, but today I just realized the light was over.... On the way back looking over into a valley just behind a mountain I saw a perfectly formed spot of rainbow. No full arch, just there in the haze, light erupting in this small section, I had to get it, so a bit of a traffic jam and 3 point turn later around a blind curve I was back and out of the car on the side of the cliff. Ignoring my issues with height, I had to get this scene properly... and I did as well as I could in the few moments I had.. A summer rainbow for pride month... To be perfectly honest, I had been looking for one, but to find one on a day with no rain was a especially fun.
