A dark runway, the thunderous whine of turbines, the city lights, here I am again wrong in the right,
Take flight, embrace the night, telling myself it's not all black or white even though everyone knows the sharpness of the edge of a knife,
Yet that's my life, broken from the start dealt a bad paw it's just fate, you keep on keeping on in the rain and wait for the dawn and if it never comes well at least I know I'm not alone.
Shadow in the mirror I don't even know my face, the only time I feel like myself is when I depart for that other place, and when the glass is empty the flames of that bomb leave behind a desolation of black out fake.
Haunted now, every step. I can never return to where I left. Shadows linger from now unto death, and through the skeletal broken weary of the shattered promise wherein awaits in the cascade of time a dark nine and the last of my commands.
