It seems that Kass's instincts are working overtime. Still I get to feeling even if you knew what was going on he would simply be happy that Isher is enjoying herself. He's the kind of person that cares for his friends after all

All this handholding is just so... lewd. 100% best sex scene of the year. But the sly shake of Isher's nervous hand, the way it surrounds and grips, and her slowly relaxing pose in the first two panels are all really great way to, you know... *convey* without being explicit.

Similarly, I like subtle way that Kass's demeanor changes from their first to fourth panel, with those upturned ears and slightly cocked head acting as an indication of distraction - different in contrast to the hyper-focused look in the first panel.

Now, I confess I might be projecting a bit here (as is often the case with such speculation), so take the following as you will:

I get the impression that this page will be a lot more important in the future as a clear turning point. I know so many people want to ship Kass and Isher together (and I think it'd be a cute pair myself). But I get the idea that this page is an indication it might not happen, and that it will in part be Kass's fault. At least insofar as the idea that Kass loses the opportunity for a relationship with Isher because he's spent so long ignoring her, just expecting her to... be there, and not acknowledging or even seeing how she feels.
