hah i like this, i've always liked bat characters.

I love bat characters, too, but their wing membranes attaching to their bodies make drawing them in shirts look dumb. Once I pulled it off pretty well for my friend but she was just in her underwear, so there was no awkward shirt placement. Here it is http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2174882/

yeah i remember seeing those when i went through your gallery a while back, and yeah, i agree about drawing the wings, it's hard to make it look like it makes sense with clothes, you either have to draw the clothes just going through the wings, which looks odd, or make up some weird new shirt type to accommodated them.

heh you know what would be interesting? drawing characters as different species.

just recently had a contest where you turn your character into an anteater, cutest idea ever. And I don't remember who started it, but it was kind of popular for a while for friends to draw their characters with switched species.

that's kinda cool. one more reason why i need to practice drawing more, so i can take part in that sort of thing.

Yeah, the art community is really fun. The more you practice the faster you'll improve.
