Painted for
Bonnie-Las
This new and interesting challenge was to paint a real location, using many photo references and combining them into a painting that doesn't recreate any specific view but rather, shows a little bit of every important feature. It was really hard at times but in the end I think it came out great and set a new standard for future commissions of this kind.

Impressive that this piece was based off of photos of an actual location, and such a gorgeous location to boot! The water is so beautiful, both in color and light/shadow. The rocky sides of the river are beautifully done - the details of the stones and trees are absolutely lovely. The sky and clouds are also amazing - the light and shadow of the clouds are particularly stunning.
