But just some drekir casting copper into some tools. Thankfully copper is a very forgiving metal to work with, a forge powered by coal and/or fire mana can easily get hot enough to efficiently melt copper and then from there all thats needed is to make a mold, usually from a mix of dirt and clay with an imprint pressed into it for the copper. Then once the copper is cast into the mold and cooled down the rough tool is taken from the mold and polished. Ground on concrete and rocks until it is nicely polished and then finally sharpened and hafted to a good stick.
It's a simply process and with if a copper tool ever wears down or breaks too much then it is easy enough to simply resmelt that old tool and recast it into a new mold to make the tool again. While drekir do scavenge and smelt bronze and brass to make bronze and brass tools it isn't common for them to do their own alloying, leaving the primary metal in most societies to be majority copper with a smaller amount of bronze or brass.

That is true, the only problem is how alluminum corrodes there isn't nearly as much useful alluminum left as there is copper. Particularly pure alluminum. So its less often melted on its own and more typically used as an alloy in copper to make alluminum bronze. There are a bunch of varieties but the most common name that I know of for that alloy is Bronzital
Another easy metal... well alloy they could find might be brass, I mean if they could find something like a brass bell them Drekir could easily be set for years harvesting that metal for crafting.
Will we get to see different 'craft' materials and styles as we see more of the different tribes/factions, kind of curious now.

Yep Brass and bronze do show up every now and again. The variety of bronzes that are used in the industrial world today does ensure that, while copper is more common, some bronze alloys will show up. Its hard to make new bronze thanks to the rarity of tin but casting down old bronze things will likely make up for that. Copper tools would be more common than bronze ones but bronze and brass do exist and are used.
Hopefully soon! While things can be consistentish in the baseline of technology (primitive to copper metalworking) there are variations of technology that can range from slight to severe in terms of their differences across the dragonscape, nothing too extreme generally but enough to be notable.

It’s a very versatile and just as importantly, reusable and heavily resistant to corrosion.
Electronics in the distant future of the thalmvar tends to use an entirely different set of magical stal metals and stal alloys so possibly not but copper might find its way into those alloys

And there it is: The downfall of Silvio total control over the Dragonscape. Nothing destroys magic faster than science. If free Drekir can gather enough non-mana based metals and materials to reignite a new industrial age, they will likely be able to ptotect themselves from subjugation and exploitation as they increase their population to overwhelmingly numbers. Sounds like something out of a history book, doesn't it?
