Billy- who did this to you Jane? Was it a pit bull, a Rottweiler, a german shepherd, a husky? Who did this Jane?!

jane- it was a german shepherd .....called susan

billy- susan did this to you!?

Billy- I,lol be right back Jane. You just rest I’m gonna take care of this matter right now.

diggs pushes his food bowl over to her

diggs- you always said i needed to build up my strength when i was sick momma so you can have my dinner if it will help you feel better

Jane- thank you Diggs I could sure use some food at the moment

diggs lays next to her for comfort

meanwhile billy drives to susans house!

Billy arrives and sees pawprints leading to the backyard.

billy- SUSAN WERE ARE YOU?!

susan- ah...billy...please!

Billy- it’s different when your a dog Susan, dogs who attack my family go to the pound!

susan- ok we had this big project to do at work ;) which i got a promotion for whilst jane didn't :( she walked off and almost got herself fired!

Billy- wait, what now?

Susan- oh so she didn’t tell why she was home early today? Yep that’s why, she got jealous and left. Our wanted to fire her but I talked him out of it. That’s the kind of friend I am Billy.

billy- you didn't have to bite her though!

susan- how else was she gonna listen?!

Billy- ok I will deal with her now, you done enough Susan, just relax and take it easy.

susan- thanks ;) i'm going inside to change back now anyway

Billy- nah nah you stay a German shepherd a little longer come on over I’ll make dinner. When Jane gets home we take care of this the right way.

Sunset roles around Jane slams Susan’s car door!

Susan/ don’t slam my door!

Jane- go to hell I hate you! I told you don’t dump my serum doesn’t the sink!

Billy- uh oh bad day at work.

jane- yeah and now i can;t have any fun being a dog because mrs party pooper over there flushed my serum!

Susan- you made me a deal and you broke it, now you can be a human like you are supposed to!

billy- hey jane babe don't be sad :(.....you could use my serum

jane- thanks babe :( but a german shepherd is the only breed i ever wanted to be your's is for a great dane

Billy- so what has gotten into Susan why are you girls fighting?

jane- she doesn't like me being a dog so she poured my serum down the sink! now i'll never have fun again

Billy- that’s good, maybe now we can focus on us then.

he gets onto her lap and hugs her

Jane- it does Diggs, thank you. Look I’m gonna go to Susan’s house and try to talk to her I hate how things ended between us today.

billy- i'll drive you over ok babe :)

Jane- no Diggs I’m sorry momma has to go alone she needs to make things up with Susan. I’ll be back later.

She steps outside and dusk was almost to night she wanted to hurry up and get to Susan’s house.

jane- oh i hope she'll forgive me :( i was way outta line today :(

Jane arrives at Susan’s house and approaches the front door.

she goes to knock but the door opens there stands susan

susan- i saw you coming

Jane- may I come in Susan? I like to talk about what happend today.

susan opens the door and shows jane inside

susan- want some coffee?

Jane- yeah coffee sure does sound good right now. Creamer and I pack of surgar please.

susan serves the drinks then sits with jane

susan- so do you wanna go first?

Jane sips her coffee and then speaks.

Jane- I’m sorry for yelling at you today and being terrible to you.

susan- i get you love being a dog jane but you can't go on like that :(

Jane- I notice you guit turning into a dog yourself, you don’t like doing it anymore.

susan- well not as often as you do ;) i change sometimes when i really want to relax

Jane- but you knew I always wanted to be a dog. That why I went to Hund’s demonstration

susan- that dog is mad jane! he's a mad scientist!

Jane- I know I am sorry we ever went to that event. It destroyed me and turned me crazy

susan- i actually did some research on hund as well ;) and what i found was.....disturbing!

Jane- what did you find out about him?

jane- oh my dog is that hund?!

Susan- yep.

Jane- how did you get your hands on this Susan?

susan- i found it inside an antique book shop

jane- giant tank, heat rays, zombie soldiers? that dogs a psycho!

Susan- I tried to tell you from the beginning, member all those people that were at the event?

Jane- yeah?

Susan- most of them were put down or captured by animal control.

jane almost passes out until susan steadies her

jane- boy i guess i was lucky

Susan- we both were Susan, Hund put some other drug in those serum viles to make the person aggressive and love there new canine form. That’s why I quit using mine Jane. Now you see?

jane- yeah i've gotta just accept that i'm human :( at least i can talk to diggs though

Susan- you know I can still talk to him to you know.

jane- oh no i just remembered billy still has some great dane serum left!

Susan- well you don’t have to throw it out. I’m still hanging on to mine just in case I ever need it.

Jane- I know, well I’m gonna head home. Another busy day tomorrow.

susan- that's what i like to hear jane ;) i'll pick you up same time same place

Jane- great Will stop for coffee on the way to work.

jane heads back home and feels better with herself :) diggs meets her at the gate

diggs- mom i'm so glad to see you! licks

Jane- oh no all I hear barking I can’t understand you.

Diggs- momma?!

jane- oh no the serum must have warn off completely :( i'm sorry diggs ...um can you bark twice if you can understand me and once if you don't boy?

( she still understands him she is playing a joke on him)

Diggs barks twice so he understood.

Diggs- momma, no please don’t be like the other humans!

Jane turns her head and smiles.

jane- fooled you diggs

diggs- oh momma you had me worried there for a sec!

Jane- yeah I’m playing come on boy let’s get you to bed momma got to work tomorrow.

diggs- aw but mom you've been gone all day :( can;t we play for an hour first? :) it would help tire me out you know ;)

The next morning Jane is ready extra early and waits for Susan outside.

susan- jane you're up already?

Jane- yep let’s get going let’s stop for a coffee on the way.

susan- ok who are and where is the real jane?

Jane hops in the car,

Jane- let’s go we got work to do let’s get a coffee along the way.

susan- yeah i like the sound of that ;) had any temptation to be a dog again?

Susan- well a little but I’m ok now just need to focus on what’s at hand.

they stop at a coffee shop that allows dogs

susan- i'll go get the drinks ok jane ;)

jane can hear the dogs talking

dog- ugh i hate the water here its never clean

dog 2- yeah i like totally agree with ya sis :(

Dog 1- our stupid human needs to hurry up in there or I will start barking.

Dog 2- totally.

jane- hey would you girls like some of my water? ;) its fresh and ice cold

the dogs look at jane

dog 1- can you...understand us?

Jane- shhhhhh yes I can it’s a long story but I don’t have time to explain here have this water its fresh.

jane- yeah :) you know i bet we could really help dogs since we know their language

Susan- imagine the number of dogs being shot, euthanized being brought down by thousands if we tell cops or anyone that the dog is trying to speak.

Jane- particularly pit bulls, it seems they are put down every day.

susan- yeah but the cops would probably think we're crazy though :(

jane- yeah...unless we could prove otherwise :)

The girls arrive at the office and they waste no time getting to work.

steve- wow you girls are sure working your tails off today huh? ;)

Susan- yes sir a lot of inventory we are going through today, say that pet store down the street their numbers for some of our products are not matching.

steve- yeah there not doing so good down there :( people just don't seem to know what their dogs want

Susan- oh no no sir I mean they are missing inventory look we have a few red spots on the chart. Come see sir?

steve- hmm yes i see what you mean, maybe we should pay them a visit

Susan- yes sir I’ll go down there under cover as a customer and I will see what’s going on.

Jane- I’ll go to! For helping out that is.

Steve- ok but be careful.

The girls make it to the car.

Jane let me use my dog serum please? I can be your pet you buy some of our products and I’ll sniff around please?

Susan- I threw your serum out you don’t have…….

Jane pulls a vile from her work jacket!

susan- you've been hiding that all this time jane?

jane- i had a good reason though

Susan- ugh ok fine you can use it but just this once you hear? You’ll protend to be my dog as I check the inventory. Still have your leash and collar Jane?

jane- sure there right here ;)

she takes the serum and changes

jane- ok mistress lead the way ;)

Susan clips on Jane’s leash and collar

Susan- now listen when we finish you change back, understand?

they enter the store

Cashier- good afternoon ma’am love your German shepherd. Can I help you with something today?

Susan- no ma’am just looking around thank you.

jane picks up a squeaky toy

susan- jane we're not here to buy stuff

jane- sorry just getting into character ;)

Susan- uh huh stay focused put that back.

Jane- yes Susan sorry couldn’t resist.

Jane walks around looking for any clues, then she sees an employee through the double glass window dots a cart full of marchondice which looked like a little of every product in the store.

Jane- psss Susan, come look at this you won’t believe what I found.

susan- i'll take some pics on my phone for evidence ;)

Jane- so he really thinks he will steal those items? He probably sells them on the street.

susan- yeah at double the price i bet

clerk- um excuse me you're not allowed back here!

Susan- I’m sorry I was looking for the bathroom. Come Jane let’s go girl.

jane whispers- i think we got some good evidence right susan? ;)

Susan- we do let’s get back to the office and show Steeve, but before we go back.

She holds the bag with Jane’s clothes in it.

Jane takes it and becomes human again, Susan tosses her clothes to her and Jane quickly gets dressed.

Jane- ok I’m ready Susan we got everything we need from here right?

susan- yes we'll take the evidence back to the boss :)

Jane- you got the photos well just show Steve and he will call the police. Where is my leash and collar?

susan- on the back seat jane, why'd you ask?

Jane- oh just wanted to check no big reason.

susan- i bet we'll get a raise for this :) steve will be really pleased with us

Jane- I holding on to my dog serum in case we need to go back there.

they arrive at the office

jane- boss you won't believe what we found out!

Susan, Steve and Jane enter his office. She brings the report of inventory and shows the photos she took on her phone.

steve- my goodness this proves their guilt ;) i'll file a report with the police department right away ;) and you 2 are in for a pay rise :)

Steve well I’ll take care of this you guys finish whatever work you have left and have a fabulous weekend.

Jane- yeah it’s fun Friday.

susan- drinks are on me tonight after work :)

Steve- celebration ladies for all your hard work.

they finish their jobs and head back to the car

jane- wow we could be like a female Hudson and Rex you know susan

Susan- yeah most defiantly we make a good team.

jane- i mean obviously i would be ''rexy''

Susan- yep. Well kits the weekend let’s get home and enjoy it.

jane- i'll bet diggs is waiting for me at the gate

Susan- yep after a long day he will want to cuddle up.

Susan oh know all I hear is barking I can’t understand you anymore. The serum must have finally wore off.

Diggs- auntie Susan your just pulling my leg……..right?

susan- hehe of course i am diggs come here and let me rub that belly

Diggs- oh thank goodness, you got me there.

billy- welcome home girls :) dinner is almost done :) um there's enough for 3 if you wanna stay susan?

Ausan- ah thanks Billy but Jacob will be waiting for me at home.

Jane- when are you two getting married? I’m excited.

Susan- whenever you and Billy get married.

billy- well not long to wait then :) (he looks at diggs) diggs have you got it boy?

diggs- right here dad :)

diggs picks up a little box and walks over to jane ;) he puts it in her hand as billy gets down on one knee

billy- open it babe :)

She opens it and her eyes filled with tears,

Billy- will you marry me?

He puts the beautiful ring on her ring finger.

jane- oh billy of course i will! I love you

They kiss and he takes her hand and leads her to the bedroom.

Susan- well I’ll see you guys tomorrow. I’m gonna head home.
