Just felt like designing another Jeroban character, and wound up using Domen Alepo's color palette for him because I like the sandy colors.
Not sure if I'll wind up using him as another "alternate avatar" sort of character (even though I already have a Jeroban avatar, Markeb), perhaps as a friend for Domec, or given his color scheme he might be related to the Little Bouncy I drew back in April.
This might be as good a time as any to address the two different nose types that appear on the Jeroban--the original design, Deneb, features a snout that's vaguely bovine or equine or something, with two large nostrils set further apart on a broader snout, while others like Rigel and Bellatrix have a more traditional nose. There is no real reason for this that I've decided, outside of there being two species/subspecies of Jeroban, and the two races freely intermingle and interact and even interbreed with relative frequency and no ill effects.

A while back, a friend of mine suggested trying to include a little tidbit of character background or lore or world-building in my descriptions, and it seems to be paying off--and it's definitely better to get it out there little by little than to just keep it to myself, I suppose.
Very glad you've been finding it interesting so far! As for whether or not the Jeroban are "little guys" I haven't really decided--I've sorta been operating under the assumption they are typically in the 150-180cm (5'0-5'8") height range as adults, putting them in a similar size category to humans.

Like many one-off drawings/designs, I just followed my whims and a collar wound up as part of his design. It doesn't look as restrictive or heavy as the ones I've drawn on criminals like Deneb and Markeb in the past--it's possibly a restraint/tracking device for a less dangerous criminal sentenced to community service or something, or he's some sort of servant or pet, or maybe just a fashion accessory of some sort (Bellatrix comes to mind, and while they are Almaki and not Jeroban, I have drawn Aludra and Adhara wearing collar-like jewelry before), or something that will never appear again if I decide to do more with the design in the future.
Thank you very much! The collar's purpose, if any, is yet to be decided, though. As I mentioned in a reply above, it's possible he's some sort of criminal sentenced to community service as punishment for some petty crime and given a less restrictive tracking collar to make sure he stays on task and doesn't wander off and the collar will be removed upon completion of his work, or he could be somebody's servant or pet, or it could simply be a fashion accessory of some sort.
