Oh man, I NEVER expected Kazuya of any characters, but it's a pretty damn good surprise. He's fun to play, landing hits feels GOOD. The only weakness is his range is short like Mario's which as a mario player, this can make fighting everyone else a challenge, lol. For his more physical attacks so you gotta work a little to really get in, but once you do it's awesome!

Alot of people are saying he's broken (my guess because of all the versatility in his moves, but I think it's simply because people haven't fought the guy enough to really find ALL the weaknesses her had.) Min Min appeared broken to, but I'm not sure if patches came out to fix her issues, but I don't see too many people talking about her now. Heck I was anticipating both Joker and Sephiroth to be broken (despite that phrasing I wasn't on a raging tangent or nothing lol) but thankfully they weren't so bad.

Frankly if you have more range on your attacks you're good. My bro and I played a few mirror matches before we tried fighting eachother as Kazuya with our mains (as per tradition with every character that comes out, save for the ones that we weren't too interested in.) We had a few good close matches in some areas, but it's definitely range that will get you most as Kazuya. So yeah just zone him out is your best bet. Also: that beam spam people are concerned about, I'll agree it'll be nuts to get sniped, but hey if you can avoid some how, you got lots of time to close in. I don't know why, but I feel Sakurai's flexing by this point, the man can literally make anything work in Smash (at least that's the belief I'm having.)

Tekken may not be in my top 3 maybe bottom 5. But I do have alot of good memories from its peak, mainly 2, 3, and tekken tournament. After that I sorta only jump in every so often usually out of curiosity, or because something like tekken tag 2 came around where my boi Ancient Ogre, True Ogre, and Alex come back. They were some fo the few examples of variety characters have (as I much more intend to prefer games where non-human characters can make up a noticeable chunk in the roster, if not the whole roster.)

I however have been watching the Mishima story play out, and my opinion hasn't changed. That family has issues is an understatement. But the fight between Kazuya and Heihachi resolved itself (unless for some reason they found some way to bring the guy back. which may just desaturate the flavor and drama it carried.)

Still wasn't expecting Kazuya, I'm very happy to have him in though. ALSO: I am aware of all the folks who didn't get Dante in, I was also disappointed not to see Shantae in the game either other than as a mii-costume. I don't know what the final character's gonna be, but frankly so long as it's not yet another FE character I wouldn't mind that.

But for you Devil May cry fans out there. I can only offer you some leezord hugs. I was honestly expecting something of your wishes to come true. IDK how big this final reveal will be, but hey history teaches us in ways so my expectations will be pretty low for this upcoming one.
