So finally, after setting the Runaway Five free, the dept. store in town reopens. It's all going well enough, Jeff buys some laser weapons and bottle rockets from a shady arms dealer in a closet, Paula gets some nice new jewelry with defensive bonuses, Ness foolishly trades in his Bat for a trick yo-yo.
Then suddenly the lights go out, Paula is whisked away by some sort of spook, and small wrapped gift boxes start moving towards us on their own, bursting open to reveal crazed sentient instruments and records (along with a scalding cup of hot coffee) that proceed to hand us our ass.
