This is a 22x36 watercolor piece. Please click the fullview, I hate how shrinking it down for the thumbnails messes everything up. And I work with a lot of detail.
In my series, the rabbit is a metaphor for women who have had and are getting abortions. When rabbit colonies are too large or struck with an epidemic, pregnant does will naturally reabsorb their kits- a natural abortion.
When women have to get backalley abortions because they have no other options, serious medical problems arise. Infections, tears, and the perforation of the uterus and intestine are just a few of the common risks. Hopefully the piece speaks for itself.
A friend of mine recently had an abortion, and was accosted outside the clinic by protesters screaming names at her and threatening her life. Just like screaming toddlers hurling their building blocks across the room.
I am not interested in discussing the politics of the issue. At all. Please just focus on the art and remain respectful.

well, if my mom had a account on here, you would get alot of negative feedback from her.
shes Pro-Life and blah blah blah... as for me im in the middle. I know you have to pick one or the other but, im for it and not for it.
I have my points and veiws on it and I know many others do too. hearing a persons thought on it is ok but not worth fighting over.
I know where I satand and Im sure I know where you stand so I wont bring it up and junk lol xD
but still its a nice image and I like it. when I showed my mom and step dad they laughed cause it said " WHORE " on it.

lol my parents are pretty immature alot at times. even on certain subjet matters. its pointless to talk about
things with them cause they will pull something out of their ass and try to be 100% right but eh whatever....
