So, Crouton does carry grudges, and while his memory is riddled with holes, he WILL remember it if you take his shinies from him.
Some bandits learned that the hard way, when their pick-pocket ran off with the Gold Crouton carried on his adventure harness and webbing. Being more at home in the wild, it didnt take long for the red Tarrasque to track his prey to their Camp, where he lay in wait until dark...
Looks like he wont be reaching the gold spilled on the floor, or potential tasty snacks in a pack one of them left behind before being made a Snack.
Either way, It'll be a long time before all the straps of his pouches fit on his form again. In the mean time, he better get comfortable in the patch of woods he now lays a claim upon - despite the noises his stomach is now making...

As for Crouton, He's known for coveting shiny/valuable items, and for being incredibly inattentive. He can spot things trying to be sneaky, but is easily distracted. They probably thought they could get away from this mark without suspicion!

Ah dang, the cunning thieves must have done some research! Or maybe poor Crouton has a reputation being spread about him that he has a wealth of valuables and isn’t always very aware… Sounds like he could use some guards or something!

Well, least he managed to get his stuff back! Plus got a few extra items... and a few extra pounds of fat once he is done with all of them.
Just hope that he can get back home easily... though if he needs help, I could easily help him... that's if I don't end up joining those bandits as well. xD

I imagine after an hour he gets back his Giant Might feature, so can increase his size again to hopefully be big enough to land :P
That is, if thr magic doesn't magically duplicate everything else, ending up with a gargantuan balloon tarrasque.
Or worse the additional duplicated gas and weight stuck behind when his size reverts again ... oh dear.
