Well, I wasn't able to quite finish this before the end of Pride Month, so it's not actually suitable for avatar usage, but I do plan on finishing the job off. I basically wanted to put a little bit of time aside to do a pride icon with Kili upfront. Well, as close as one can for a straight ally. It's also serving as a reminder that I need to improve my art, as I had to draw on my last piece to get the muzzle done right. Also gave a closed eye a try. Not quite happy with the result, but it was the only look that I could kinda get behind. Everything else made Kili look old.

To be completely frank and honest, for a few months I did have a moment where I actually seriously considered my identity along the lines of the LGBT spectrum. Namely in terms of my gender and a little bit of sexuality as well that kinda threw me in a loop for a while (still does everyso often actually). I ultimately walked away from that questioning realising that I was still a straight cis-male who's imagination was starting to run wild again (or at least open to the possibilities), but I had a great deal of help from some people in the LGBT who put up with me checking this out, and it helped give me a better understanding and respect of the LGBT community on top of what I already had. It's even opened me up to trying a few mildly androgynous looks, hence Kili here sporting longer hair.

So, long story short. I wanted to show my support for the LGBT community despite being straight and cis myself. Count on me as an ally! And I will get this thing finished at some point!
