One of the things I reacted about in Roadside Romeo was how quickly and easily the titular character adapts to living on the streets.Within a day or so of being thrown out of his luxurious, privileged surroundings he's found not only a place to live, but new servants as well.

I think it's connected with his unshakable self confidence, which I guess comes from the upbringing. He's used to everyone waiting on him, and so he acts like it's perfectly natural that everyone does what he wants, which in turn makes people actually do that.

I've seen the same thing in humans.

I'm not sure I'd do nearly as well in his situation.
