Luca’s got a point, everyone he’s talked to keeps trying to convince him that they’re the best for him without really giving him any reason to trust them. Can’t really make a choice on who to trust when so little actually gets explained to him.

^ This. He has every right to question everything they say. Instincts or not. Honestly neither have given them any reason to trust them. Group 1 made him a werewolf against his will. Group 2 violently kidnapped him and constantly vaguely (or not so) threatened him with harm.

Not to mention Nio's boss, Altair started all this by transforming him without warning, so cant blame the guy for not trusting his group either.
