Seems that chasing that plane across numerous countries has made Shango quite thirsty, and since he's become so massive that he can no longer see the plane, he's become far more interested in a quick, growy drink.
Perks of being a deity: salt water becomes fresh with a thought~ The sea life might not be too keen on that, but with the Earth's oceans about to be all slurped up, that's a low, low concern.
And who knows, Shango might just decide to chow down on some glacial poles to cool off after a while, and a lot more size~~

And oh dear he is getting rather huge already~
