From what I understand with their backstory, Mel/the physical dude doesn't like ENTITIES because of how dangerous they can be but is stuck with one called Mal that basically took their shadow. I don't know too much of their backstory other than what was mentioned on their art fight and tried to incorporate a little of it on this. ^^
