This happens to be the result of my 1st mystery egg adoption. It was fully random without knowing anything but the egg's look. I actually do like it with the colors and reasoning for the rocks.


Bit of backstory

The rocky indurations that cover it are the result of an experiment that breaks out of control. Over time, more and more of them come, until they finally cover the entire host, creating armor.
However, at an early stage, you can get rid of them like scabs.
