News Announcer: You’re watching Channel 223! This is Infurnationals TV with Spotlight!
Spotlight: Good evening, furry folks! I’m Spotlight, and welcome back to another news report on Infurnationals TV! As you all can see, today is July 1st. That's right, furry folks. Today...is Canada Day - the anniversary of Canadian federation, along with the passing of the Constitution Act where the three colonies, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Canada itself united into a single Dominion back in 1867. Although, this was originally called Dominion Day back in 1982 when Canadian Constitution was patriated by the Canada Act. Not only is Canada Day being celebrated here, it’s also being celebrated around the world in various locations attended by us Canadians living abroad. Unfortunately, despite celebrating, it is not meant to be as this country...reckons with a dark colonial history. That's right, furry folks. As it turns out...our country was built on genocide. Thousands of unmarked graves of children at schools were reported and shocked not just the Canadians, but the world, as well. Canada's history...was nothing but violence. As of now, Canada Day shall be the day of "a time of reflection"; a day of reflection and mourning. In fact, orange now symbolizes the acknowledgment of the victims of Canada's school system. And now, furry folks. As we go mute today, new world warriors of Canada have been announced that’ll be joining the Infurnationals today. Let’s see what their response is...

*Somewhere in Manitoba*
Hot Toddy: *Carries a few chopped logs to the pile then suddenly sees the cameraperson right in front of him* Hey, how are you doing?
*Somewhere in Yukon*
Oakley: *twirls one of his axe guns* With these axes, there WILL be justice for us!
*Somewhere in New Brunswick*
Sap Muffin: *On the toilet as he is reading a magazine while doing his business until he suddenly sees the cameraperson and puts the mag down on his lap for he is unamused* Are you gonna get out of here, or are you just gonna stand there and record this?
