Long Walk Alone by SingingFoxes
Another in a set of three pieces that I did for Peter over at
singingfoxes in the effort to really understand how the machine at Memories-4-ever works. While I can say that this is not my best piece, it is certainly a very close second!
I love how this turned out! The subtleties of the backgrounds in images like this are actually very difficult to bring out, and I ended up trying this print on (I think) three separate pieces of stock (including this one) before it came out right.
This is a standard 8x10 size that—if the panel doesn't come with an alternative—I fasten a sawtooth hanger to so that you can hang it on the wall. I try to use every bit of available space, but more often than not—as is the case with this print—there will be some sort of border around the image. This can be either decoration or simply to preserve the quality of the piece. Either way, in pieces like this the result is that of a framed picture that is slightly recessed into the wood, giving the piece a depth that wouldn't be doable on paper.
As always, credit is given where credit is due, Peter is an amazing artist and if you'd like to see the original piece, click here > https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40569083/
If you'd like to get in contact with Peter about getting art done of your characters, you can find his contact information on his page, or by clicking here > https://yesterlove.carrd.co/ where you'll also find pricing and work examples, as well as links to other websites where he posts his work!
