Kind've reminds me of a live bootleg i heard of syd in 69' in switzerland "The man the journey" just fragments though not all this track does....

Just certain parts.... bring me back to that concert... that i wasn't even alive to witness.... hah.

Hmm, didn't Roger Waters start a project titled The Journey. I think it was The Body or something like that.

That's something else I'll have to check out.

Waters is the bassist and i find him to be a snoob. :P It's just pure coincidence he and syd were close and that "Syd's" first name is actually Roger, so technically there was two Roger's in the band. LoL.

But yeah they booted him out, but i know for sure that david gilmour did not play in this one switzerland bootleg b/c i mean the weird sounds and stuff... no way, david would do that shit....

They kicked syd out for being too bizarre with his antics, they wanted to go for (popular) recordings not (personal) recordings.

They wanted money and fame, and no originality.

Also... which ironic about these live bootlegs is there was one other bootleg i am positive it's syd, as he complained about "atom heart mother" having an choir... or like orchestra thing, and he said this is one without the bloody choir / orchestra (i think choir is the right word but w/e)

But w/e. David Gilmour did however, redo Syd's old stuff as he was syd's replacement.

So he technically learnt the stuff Syd played. But to me.... nevermind, i'm sorry i'm rambling.

An david gilmour is still a good guitarist, and i don't hate him as much as i dislike waters... but i still find david to be arrogant too. ^_^

Please don't debate Pink Floyd trivia with me, especially on FA. I understand that you dislike Waters/Gilmour, but this is my song we're talking about rememnber. I'd appreciate it.
