What kind of conure is it? I grew up with two cherry crown ones. They were super intelligent and probably some of the best pets I've ever had.

He's a green cheek conure, cinnamon type. He really is a gorgeous animal :).

That's jawesome. The ones we had learned how to walk on the ceilings of their cages and eventually could turn lights on and off in rooms. It's amazing to see how fast they can learn simple actions and pick stuff up. Our female named Gracie learned how to walk backwards so when she followed you around the house she could play coy like she couldn't care less about what you were doing and would start looking around as if interested in something else whenever you tried to catch her walking.
