LONG EXPLANATION TIME
So, this image is the joining of two separate concepts I had, that didn't have anything to do with each other previously. I've long had this idea of an angel world that's the counterpart of Augroth's home world, but I had the hardest time designing the angels. Then I realized that's because I'd already designed them, in the form of this feathered ogre and his assistant, who I designed so long ago but didn't have a setting. I realized they were perfect for this, so voila!
In this universe, 65 million years ago, the comet that contributed to the KT extinction in our world, did something different. It tore a rift in the dimensions, spilling magical energy into the universe. It crashed on Earth, creating Augroth's desert world Tartarus, populated with demons (descended from dinosaurs), and interdimensional biomass from the comet's tail covered Venus, converting it into a jungle world, Elysia, also with dinosaurs (from neighboring universes) that developed into the angels.
On both worlds, aftershocks from the rift to this day sometimes pull humans from nearby dimensions into both worlds. On Tartarus, they're treated as lower animals and slaves (except by kind demons like Auggy), but on Elysia, they're treated like equals, at least intellectually. The problem is that humans are completely ill-equipped to survive the dangers of the jungle; even the smallest predator can easily kill a human, and most of the plants are poisonous to them. So basically they have to live under the protection of the angels if they want to survive. Most humans are OK with this, but some fall into depression at having to live as the inferior species.
Annie here is not depressed at all. She and her patron Harraphon have a strong bond, and as sometimes happens they've become romantic. Luckily the angels, much like the demons, have magical resources that can make such a pairing possible despite the size difference, so these two are quite happy together.
Much thanks to
hazardbarzard for helping me name Harraphon! <3

Such an breathtaking piece of work! Really love the design on him, with the different wings shapes and how he's holding her up with one of them. The red really suits him well, and damn, he looks damn fine! Annie is pretty darn cute too, love the outfit on her! The lush background really fits the theme, too. <3
All in all, another masterful work, sweets. Great job! B3

She totally calls him Harry just to tease him, sometimes. ~;3
And don't worry, they don't actually have an angelic hierarchy; humans are the ones that call them "angels", but they're really just magically-adapted biological beings with a range of moral behavior (though they tend towards the compassionate). There are many different tribes, though, some with more wings, some with different shaped wings, some with only wings and no arms, etc.

I like where this is going.
Hm, you might want to consider using a softer brush for some areas, in particular her skin. While the texturing looks great in his feathers... fur... hair? ... In "softer" areas, such as her legs, the brush-marks can look a bit distracting. Overall, very nicely designed and drawn, though.

>"Hope you like the change, since you are probably the one that likes this couple the most. ~:3"
Aside from yourself, you mean... ? :P Well, I think you've made them both look a little more interesting and unique than before. If my memory doesn't fail me ( which it just might ) I've actually coloured one of your older drawings of this happy couple, haven't I?
